Sharrin Edwards

Biography

This is Sharrin Edwards' fifth time performing with Storefront and she loves it! Originally from New York, she has lived in Charlotte for more than 25 years. Theatre credits include the national tour of Don't Play Us Cheap with Melvin Van Peebles, and Medea at Lincoln Center. She originated the role of Lou Walters in Judy Simpson Cook's 1963. Her film credits include Never Feed The Troll, Cotton Club, Saying Goodbye, and The 5th Quarter, with Andie McDowell and Aidan Quinn. She's worked on air at WFAE and WDAV and hosted Saturday Night Jazz with her husband, David, at WHQR in Wilmington. She spent seven years on As The World Turns, and has done numerous commercials.
